Voices

There are many voices,

that will often talk to you,

they will help you make your choices,

they will tell you what to do.

You may choose to abide,

by the rules they make,

you may brush them aside,

but then you’re making a mistake.

Once your life is over,

you should’ve finished all your tasks,

you may die sober,

or may die wearing a mask.

You will ask yourself,

many different questions,

“Did I do good?”,

or “Did I learn all due lessons?”.
