Materialistic world

The world is so material,
all we want are brands,
without them we don't fit in,
the cheap are just too bland.


I'm not stereotyping everyone,
into this dreadful category,
there are some hidden diamonds,
who don't care about their salary.


Why is there money?
This is the ultimate cause,
for the minority,
to have to follow unfair laws.


I'm not saying it's bad,
to have a little greed,
but it is so very sad,
to always say we need.
